> “ I just unpacked cart and I’m ready to use but it won’t start”

- We disconnect the positive battery lead for safety when shipped. If you have a single pump unit, open cover on pump box and connect wire to battery.

- If you have a 2 pump system, there is a black connect wire coming out of back of pump box. There is a matching lead coming from battery box. Connect the two wires.

> “Just getting my cart out for spring ball and the battery seems dead.”

- The first rule of correctly maintaining a Wheelin’ Water system is to plug in battery when not in use. Charger is a trickle charger and can be left on all off season and not damage the battery. So ask yourself was it plugged in and in a warm temp to avoid freezing?

- Put battery on charge. If it fails to charge, you need first to check the inline fuse.

     * In a one pump system the 10 amp (red) blade fuse is in line on the black           wire that is connected to the bottom of off/on switch. Open cover, pull           out fuse and check to see if it has blown.

     * On a two pump system the 15 amp (blue) fuse is located in the positive           wire that comes off battery to back of pump box. Pull out fuse and check         to see if blown

- If either fuse is blown, you can obtain a replacement at any auto parts store or hardware store.

- If this does not fix problem, battery needs to be checked. We use Batteries Plus batteries and chargers exclusively in all our systems. They will check battery and charger for free. Check your local listing or go online to BatteriePlusbulbs.com and use their store locator to find nearest store to you. If you are not close to a store, then try to find another local source for testing. You can contact Wheelin' Water for replacement batteries or chargers at 260-452-6478.

- Remember batteries should be plugged in after each use and when not in use to assure you have a fully charged battery for the next use.

> “I had the battery on charge and green charge      light was on. I put in cart and 15 minutes later the battery is dead”

- This is the sign of a failing battery. If you have another battery on charge, replace in cart.

- If no replacement at school you can follow these steps. We use Batteries Plus batteries and chargers exclusively in all our systems. They will check battery and charger for free. >“I need to replace a hose and nozzle assembly but I’m not sure of any part numbers of the parts I need."

-This is a common problem and trying to explain exactly what you need can be confusing. Check the attached chart to see all the part numbers and components for a hose and nozzle assembly.

> "I'm done using my hydration cart for the season. How do I get it ready for off season and storage?"

Like any high quality piece of equipment, they need to be properly stored during off season. This will ensure you have a hydration system that is ready for the next season. Proper sanitizing and storage is critical!

Storing for off season

  • Sanitize cart by using tablets provided. (These can be obtained from Wheelin' Water for $11.00 per bottle of 150) There are cleaning and sanitizing instructions in the Use and Care manual that came with cart.

  • Drain all excess water from tank/cooler. Use a sponge or towel to get any left-over water.

  • Tipping cart, drain water from clear hoses.

  • Remove blue hoses. Squeeze lever on nozzles to drain out water.

  • Rock top of cart back and forth to remove any excess water in grey manifold.

  • CART MUST BE STORED IN AN AREA THAT WILL NOT FREEZE

  • PUT BATTERY ON CHARGER WHEN NOT IN USE. CHARGER IS A TRICKLE CHARGER
